

Dieter Henry Nippert Jr., 59, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022 in Redding, California surrounded by his family. Dieter was born on May 14, 1962 in Ogden, Utah. As a child his family moved to Sacramento California, where he and his brothers grew up. Dieter enjoyed fishing on the Sacramento River for sturgeon and stripers, swimming in Folsom lake and jumping off bridges like the Jibboom and Sutter Slough Bridge. He had a great love for music, he taught himself to play the guitar and keyboard. He loved to beat box, and loved all genres of music, but had a special talent for rapping. As a teenager he loved to hang out at Cal Expo, the California State Fair. He loved old classic cars and hot rods. He spent time with his uncle Henry rebuilding cars and street racing. As a young adult he moved to Utah where he met his (ex)wife Leisa, and they had 6 beautiful children. He was later sealed to his family for all eternity in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Oakland Temple. He was passionate about his beliefs and loved to share his love of the gospel with everyone he knew. He was a man of many trades and loved any opportunity to learn new skills. He had such a great personality and sense of humor and everybody loved him. Of all of the things he loved to do, spending time with his family and friends was always his favorite.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Dieter Henry Nippert Sr., and Mrs. Delores Mae Burrell and his younger brothers Leroy Nippert and Paul Burrell Jr. and his beloved dog Bobo.
Dieter leaves behind his 6 children: Heather Nippert and friend Corey Dial, Hathena Scholfield and husband Derrick, Heleena West and husband Walt,
Dieter Nippert III, Hillary Chavez and husband Fidel, and Huraina Nippert. His siblings: Stephen Nippert and wife Angela, Tony Burrell and wife Debbie, Heidi Ellington and husband Gene, Aaron Nippert and wife Dallas, Helga Whaley and husband Tracy, Adam Nippert and wife Denise. 18 grand-children: Brooke and Caidence Dial, Hailey, Derrick, Dax, and Naylia Scholfield, Ethan Nippert, Elissa, Easton, and Ellie West, Nathen and Lucas Nippert, Holly, Olivia, Kara, and Emily Chavez, Heleisa and Helucia Nava. As well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The celebration of life will be held at the LDS Corning Ward church on Thursday, the 31st of March at 1:00pm. The address is as follows: 111 North Marguerite Avenue Corning, CA.
