

Elois was born in Kiawa, Oklahoma, on March 17, 1917, to JW (Chock) and Jemima Ellen Jump-Pulliam.
Elois and Fredrick David Babcock were married in Sawyer, OK, on August 8, 1932. She was an amazing mother to their four children; one son and three daughters: Arlin and Francis Babcock of Los Molinos, Ina and Dale Diggers of Gerber, Marcella and Bill Adcock of Gerber, and Freda and Buck Dikes of Los Molinos.
Elois was known by many endearing names but Gran was the name used by her ten grandchildren; Marsha Flinn, Onita Phillips, David Adcock, Fredrick Babcock, Thomas Diggers, Debra Henry, Linda Hoover, Tressa Schmidtke, Diana Geiger, and Buck Dikes II.
Elois devoted her life to God, family and her church Faith Hope Love Ministries. She enjoyed cooking, sewing quilts for everyone in the family, and tending her flower and vegetable gardens. Her smiles, positive attitude and loving ways endeared her to everyone who knew her. Eloise Louise Babcock was God's blessing to each and every life she touched. The memories we have of her will be forever cherished.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend of 64 years Fredrick David Babcock, grandson Thomas Diggers, sister Gracie Cannedy and brothers Bob Pulliam, Bill Pulliam, Johnny Pulliam and Jesse Pulliam. She is survived by her children and their spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, sister Beulah Gilmore of Oregon, sister-in-law Margie Pulliam together with many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Chapel of the Flowers on Walnut Street in Red Bluff, California.
