Nicholas Paul Ciufo was born on April 5, 1982 to Lennie and Susie Ciufo. He was brother to Angela and John Ciufo, son in law to Mitch and Diane Ampi and brother in law to Juan Zuniga, A.J. Ampi and Nicole Ampi. He grew up in Thousand Oaks California and attended Cal Poly University as a Construction Management major where he met Kacey Ampi. They quickly fell in love and married in 2006. They were married for 18 years and have three beautiful children, Lola (15), Lou (12) and Leo (9). Nick worked as a project manager in the construction field for 20 years for Shea Homes and Sunseri Construction. His love and respect for doing things the right way led him to passive house design where he challenged himself to grow in this new area of construction. Nick loved spending time with his family. He loved watching his kids play sports, hike trails, camp in the wilderness and explore. The outdoors were always his favorite place and he always wore a smile when he was on his mountain bike riding the trails. His family grew up camping and fishing in the Mammoth mountains and that was always a place that brought him peace. He loved his family and his friends, and had a great respect for being a steward of the earth and taking care of those around him. He worked hard and had the utmost character. He was loved by so many and will be missed by all. Until we meet again in Heaven, our dear Nick, rest in peace. We love you. We miss you.
Eternal rest grant unto Nick, O Lord, and let Your perpetual light shine upon him.
May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.
Amen.
