Mr Billy Wayne Maddox

Billy Wayne Maddox 76, of Wyoming Michigan passed from temporary existence here to his eternal life on September 3, 2015 at approximately 11:55 am. He is survived by his wife Joy And his four beloved children: Bill R. Maddox of Redding, CA, Kathy Bowen of Fayetteville , GA, Ruth Stinnett of Noblesville IN, and Jennifer Maddox also of Wyoming MI, 10 grandchildren and one great grand daughter. He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years Charlene R Maddox, his parents and three of his siblings and one grandson.

Born on July 31st, 1939 along with his twin sister Betty in Lepanto, Arkansas. His parents moved to southwestern Michigan for work in the 40's.

He was a recreational golfer, softball player, played basketball and watching the New York Yankees have him pleasure!

He worked for many years in Dowagiac MI where he also raised his children.

He was a very active member at Hartford Full Gospel Assembly and served There as a song leader & deacon.

After moving to Grand Rapids area he worked several jobs until retirement.

He enjoyed the company of his family and friends and kept in touch with several of his Lawrence High School classmates.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Alzheimer's research in his honor.

There will be no services held.
