Diane Marie Leon

She was born on July 21, 1939 in San Francisco, CA to John and Margaret Serrano. On February 14, 1957 Diane married the love of her life, Julio Leon and the couple had two beautiful children together.

Diane enjoyed spending free time cooking, fishing, making pottery and crocheting. Her family and friends will always remember her as a kind and giving lady that loved her family and friends.

Diane is survived by her Husband Julio Leon; Sons, Kenny Leon and Johnny Leon; Step-Daughter, Cynthia Cargill and her husband Reagan; Sisters, Judy Porcelli and husband Ron, Cookie Urbana and her husband Robert; Brother, Bob Serrano and his wife Janet; Sister-in-law, Linda Serrano; Grandsons, Jonathan Leon and Evan Cargill; Granddaughters, Nicole Leon and Carisa Cargill; Great Granddaughter, Xellie Leon-Rogers; nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends.

Diane is preceded in death by her Brother, Johnny Serrano.

The family would like to thank Bristol Hospice for their professionalism, kindness and compassion during this difficult transition.

Services in Diane’s honor will be held at McDonald’s Chapel, 1275 Continental St. Redding, CA on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 beginning at 11am. She will be laid to rest at Redding Memorial Park.
