Kao Chio Saephan was born in Thailand on February 8th, 1985 to Nai Pou Saephan and Mouang Seng Saephan. In 1990 Kao immigrated to the United States with his parents and three siblings: Yian, Mouang and Tonh. Once settled in Redding, CA, Kao worked hard to acclimate to his new environment and from there Redding became his home, and where all his memories will forever reside.
Aside from Kao’s father and siblings, he also left behind ten nieces and nephews: Brandon, Asiah, Donovan, Jayden, Kaydon, Amelia, Shaelyn, Shalyse, Trevor and Sharlena.
Kao was a man of few words, and so, he showed his love by taking care of people. Before he became weakened by his medical conditions, he would ambitiously cook along side his brother and hosted all their guests with the warmest hospitality.
Kao enjoyed the outdoors of fishing, camping and simply being in nature. In Kao’s brief moment with us, he has shown us how precious every moment can be. As Kao was always seen trying to capture all the memories with his phone camera and live videos, and we would all give him a hard time. But that was a reflection of how much Kao enjoyed every moment, even the simple ones. Kao, you will forever be missed as a son, brother, uncle, brother in-law, friend, and a Raider.
May you go fly amongst the Angels and join your mom in eternity.
For one last time, this is for you Kao...
“RAAAAAIIIIIDERS!!!”
