Kevin was born on December 21st of 1964 in San Bernardino, CA to his mother Micki Sandford, and at the age of 3, became a loving stepson to Micki’s husband Vernon Wilson.
He was hard of hearing all of his life, actively being involved in the Deaf Community. He had very many friends who enjoyed spending time with him, and was very active in baseball and football.
He was married to Dinah Scivoletti (Smith) for 18 years, and had three children. Though this relationship wasn't permanent, they remained good friends afterwards. Kevin was engaged to Kae Saephanh and had a relationship of almost 7 years together, and was the stepfather of her two daughters.
Kevin always had a strong love for the football team, the Las Vegas (Oakland) Raiders, and the baseball team San Francisco Giants. He actively loved collecting sports cards, watching Star Wars, camping, and spending time with friends and families.
He was very funny and had a compassionate heart, listening when someone needed an ear to listen. He always had stories to share, laughs to let out, and conversations that could be caught up in a single afternoon like time had never passed.
He is survived by his big and loving family: Children: Brandon, Hope, and James Wilson of Dinah (Scivoletti), Stepchildren: Meuy and Lianna Phanh of Katie (Kae) (Saephanh), Grandchildren: Ryker and Autumn of Brandon and Cynthia (Wilson), Presley of James (Wilson), and several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
He is predeceased by his grandparents Marielta and James Sandford, his step brothers Mike and Rick Wilson (Vernon), and his loving parents, mother Micki and step-father who he proudly titled ‘Dad’ Vernon Wilson.
A Celebration of Life is currently being discussed with the family, so please keep contact with the family for any information in regards to it. Flowers and etc. can be sent or given to the family at any time, please contact them as well for more information. We thank you all for spending time with Kevin, making his life honored within all of our hearts. His memories will live on forever.
