Oma Scribner, longtime resident of Trinity County, passed away on November 3, 2011 at Copper Ridge in Redding, California. Oma was born on December 3, 1930 in Decatur, Illinois to Arthur and Mabel Collins.
She owned and operated a restaurant in Lewiston for close to 20 years.
Oma is survived by her husband, James Scribner; daughter, Beth Scribner; sons, Paul Scribner and Jack Scribner.She was preceded in death by her son Jimmie Scribner on September 13, 2011.
A private Memorial Graveside service will be held at Redding Memorial Park.
