Anne O. Garrett

She was preceded in death by her parents, Isabel and Richard Obenschain and special friend, Elizabeth "Lib" Taylor. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Walter Garrett, Jr.; daughter, Elizabeth Peck (David); grandchildren, Savannah Liverman and Austin Peck; step-children, Lori Gill (Mike) and Adam Garrett (Georgia); step-grandchildren, Chelsea Gill, Kendra Conway, Brittany Gillend, Patrick Garrett, Tiffany Mozingo, Christopher VanderValk, Rosie Hill, and Shawn Hill; great-grandchildren, Tanner, Jace, and Ryleigh Liverman, Jonah Garrett, C.J. Tate, Kendall Gillend, Mason Conway, Shannon Sprouse, Junior Spencer, Kason Hill, and Owen Hill; brothers, Richard B. Obenschain and Michael Obenschain; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Anne earned her bachelor's degree at Roanoke University and worked at SunTrust bank. She enjoyed tennis, bike riding, fishing, reading books, and spending time with her family.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 South Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231 where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
