She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Joseph; children, Debbie and Jeff; brother, W.M. "Skeeter" Birchard; and sister, Myrtle "Snookie" Constantino.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Nancy (Bob) Shufflebarger; niece, Myra Birchard Wagner; and nephew, George (Shirley) Constantino.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Fairmount United Methodist Church, 12 Bayard Rd., Richmond, VA 23223. Interment will be private in Washington Memorial Park.
