Barbara Gunderson Harvey

Barbara Gunderson Harvey, 74, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 5, 2015. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Harvey; and parents, John A. and Doris M. Gunderson. Barbara was a faithful member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church, and dedicated many work hours with Gibson Greeting Cards, DMV, and C.F. Sauer’s. Barbara was outgoing and she loved her family, friends, church family and gospel music. Barbara leaves to cherish her memory her only child, Terry L. Satterwhite; siblings, Arnold and his wife Bette, Aubrey and his wife Linda; nieces, Stefanie Gunderson-Young, Kimberly and Gwen Gunderson; nephews, Jason and Jeremy Gunderson; along with a host of extended family and numerous loved friends. Her memory will forever live in our hearts. Visitation will be Monday, February 9th, 4-8 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, February 10th at 1 pm, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 5270 Charles City Road, Henrico, VA 23231. Barbara will be laid to rest at Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, VA. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in Barbara’s name to the Poplar Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, 5270 Charles City Road, Henrico, VA 23231 or to the Susan G.
