Bernard Lee Mahone, III

MAHONE, Bernard Lee "Bernie" III, 73, of Mechanicsville, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. He enjoyed woodworking and was a contractor and owner of Door and Window Gallery. He was a member of Truth Baptist Church. Bernie is survived by his wife, Doris T. Belton; children, Michael, Kathy and Rebecca; two grandchildren, Samantha and Lindsey; siblings, Frederick Anthony Mahone, James Edward Mahone and Joanne Frances Mahone D'Amico; two stepdaughters and four stepgrandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 31, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. Services will be held Thursday, November 1, at 11 a.m., at Truth Baptist Church, 7400 Antique Ln., Mechanicsville, Va. 23116. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
