He graduated from Varina High School and was a former employee of Agere Systems.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Crystal Lynette Sydnor and is survived by his wife, Maxine Sydnor; grandson, Joseph Sydnor, siblings, Jerry and Loretta; and sisters-in-law, Joyce and Carlon.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, VA 23230.
The family is being served by Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231.
