Carl Alton Griffith, 85, of Richmond went to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 20, 2016. He was the owner of Carl’s Auto Repair and a member of Grove Baptist Church- Goldvein VA. Carl served in the United States Navy (Aviation Ordinance) during the Korean War and received the National Defense Service Medal. He was a Mason and a member of the FOPA. Carl had a passion for fishing and computer repair. Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Otis Griffith and Myrtle Edwards Griffith; and sister, Linda Victoria Ninow. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Charlotte B. Griffith; daughters, Carla Hawk (Jerry), and Charlynn Throckmorton (Sidney); grandchildren, Caly E. Emerson, Rylee Ann Emerson, Henley H. Chayka, and Stacey Y. Hawk; beloved great granddaughter, Charlotte Ann Patton; brother, Rudolph Griffith (Barbara) and nephews Darryl and Darren Griffith.
