Earl "Buddy" Rogers Houston Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor B. Houston; sons, Earl R Houston, Jr. “Butch” (Wendy, dec), Alan T. Houston (Jill) and Daniel N. Houston (Elena Ferranti); grandchildren, Joan Duszynski and Chad Houston; great-grandchildren, Shane Duszynski, Julia Duszynski, Ellie Duszynski and Samantha Houston; brother, Stuart Houston; and a large circle of family and friends.

Buddy served in the Army during the Korean war and then went on to work as a Butcher and Fisherman. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and bowling, and was a member of the 300 club!

The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, January 22 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231, where a funeral service will be held 2pm, Friday, January 23rd. Burial will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
