Elizabeth Stoneman Cooper

COOPER, Elizabeth Stoneman, 101, of Varina, Va., died Monday, December 17, 2018. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth “Betty” Anderson (Ross); son, John Cooper Jr.; grandchildren, Susannah Anderson (Jack), Audrey Anderson (Tahir) and Laura Cooper; and great-grandchild, Innes Anderson-DePaolo. Mrs. Cooper worked for the C&O Railroad as a stenographer for many years. The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2018, at Nelsen Funeral Home 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23231. Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Varina Episcopal Church, 2385 Mill Road, Henrico, Va. 23231. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Monday, December 24, 2018, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Varina Episcopal Church.
