

George was preceded in death by his wife Elsie J Mallory, and his daughter Theresa M Mallory.
George spent 42 years serving his country in the USAF and the Air National Guard. He retired at the level of Chief Master Sergeant. He met his wife of 59 years at Griffiss Air Force Base in Rome, New York.
George had a very soft heart toward people and was not afraid to show is emotions openly. He was also a very generous man with his time and his money. He would extend a helping hand without a moment’s thought. He was an exceptional poet and could recite many of them from memory years later. He had a kinship with animals. They seemed to sense his gentle heart and spirit. He had many pets throughout his life and he cared for them all deeply. But most of all, George loved to talk to people and tell stories of his experiences and his passions.
George is survived by his children, David A Mallory and Susan M Mallory (Aaron); grandchildren, Christian Slocomb and Luke Slocomb.
A graveside service will be held at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Park Dr. Sandston, VA 23150 on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11:00AM.
