Gladys Irene Clarke Bateman

BATEMAN, Gladys Irene Clarke, 85, of Sandston, Virginia, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 30, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Bateman and her son, Jason Bateman. She is survived by her children, Sandra Hall, Ronnie Moss (Rhonda), Tommy Clarke and Cheryl Cosner, her nine precious grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, along with numerous beloved cousins, nieces and nephews, other extended family members and many special friends. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 8, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Laburnum Chapel of Nelsen Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
