Glenn Elwood Barlow

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolly and Marvin Barlow; brothers, Gene Barlow, James Barlow, Richard Barlow; brothers in law, James Shook and Jack Shook.

Glenn was an auto mechanic for Fetty’s Service Center and he enjoyed fishing, old cars, horseshoes and above all, his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bertha Barlow; daughters, Donna Lam (“Leigh”), Denise Whitehurst (“Bubba”); grandchildren, Brandon Lam (Liz), Ashleigh Nichols (Tyler), Frankie Brookman (Chase), Lindsey Hammond, McKenzie Hinks, Parker Hinks, Kayleigh Lam; Siblings, Kay Timberlake, Johnny Barlow, Henry Barlow (Joann), Dale Barlow (Frances); brothers and sisters in law, Rose Nelson, Nancy Lowry, William Shook (Robin) and Robert Shook; great grandkids, Carter, Nash, Skylar, Thrasher, Baker, Reid and Coleman and a large circle of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted 2 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Pioneer Baptist Church, 3140 Darbytown Road, Henrico, VA 23231. The family respectfully asks that no flowers be sent, due to the family's allergies, but instead, monetary donations can be sent to the family to assist with health expenses.
