HOBSON, Helen Welsh, 92, of Sandston, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016. She was active in the American Legion Post 144 for many years. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy E. Welsh and Robert Hobson. She is survived by two sons, Joe Welsh (Carole) and Horace Welsh (Judy); four grandchildren, Brooke Bottari, Suzanne Welsh Agnew, Austin Spangler and Carrie Allen; four great-grandchildren, Andrew and Maddie Bottari, Jude Allen and Brij Spangler; sister, Gretchen Parker; and niece, Sandra Logan Wright. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
