James R. Price, 78, of Richmond passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017. He served in the U. S. Navy and the Virginia Air National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Peggy Price and a daughter, Debra Benton. James is survived by his sister, Patricia Elmes (Roy); niece, Robin Reid; two nephews, James Reid (Bobbi) and their son, Brad and Danny Elmes (Stacey) and their daughter, Alexandra; and one granddaughter, Kelley Fleenor; and other family and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 5, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Washington Memorial Park.
