Jan was a faithful Christian who loved the Lord, her family, and friends and had a smile and laugh that brought joy to those around her. She was a graduate of Highland Springs High School (1968) and retired after working for MCV/VCU for 25 years. She was a devoted member of Oakwood Memorial Baptist Church, where she served as Deacon, taught Sunday School, and served her Lord in many other ways. Jan was especially thankful for the care and kindness always provided to her by the MCV/VCU medical staff. A private graveside service will be held for family. A Celebration of Life will be held at Oakwood Memorial Baptist Church September 18, 2021, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Oakwood Memorial Baptist Church, 3100 Gay Ave., Henrico, VA 23231.
