Jean Ross Samuels

Jean Ross Samuels, 68, passed away in the presence of her loving family on May 1, 2014, in the comfort of her home. She was a longtime resident of Sandston, Virginia. Jean is preceded in death by her parents William T., Sr. and Ida R. Prince. She was a faithful member of Veneble Baptist Church and a devoted homemaker. Jean truly enjoyed making her family her number one priority. She also loved visiting the beach, tending to her flower garden, and going to local yard sales and wineries for wine tasting. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family, friends, and her cherished grandchildren.They were the joy of her later years. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 49 years, Bill Samuels Sr.; two children, Randy Samuels (Diane) and Michelle Samuels; three grandchildren, Skye Samuels, Killian Miller, and Kennedy Jones; siblings, Bubba, Leroy, Betty, Barbara, and Judy; close friends, Liz & Margie; special thanks to Linda O’Brien, and many beloved sister and brother in laws. She will be sorely missed. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014, 2:00 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home and Crematory Reception Center; located at 4660 S.
