Born October 13, 1949, Johnny lived a life marked by steady dedication and quiet strength.
Johnny was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Valerie L. Lambert.
He worked as a diesel mechanic and truck driver, roles that reflected his practical skill and strong work ethic.
Johnny is survived by his children: Victoria Lambert, Jennifer Gates (Kendall), Tiffany Lambert, Michelle Chenault (Randy), and Tammy Garrett (Chris); his grandchildren: Lillian and Levi Gates, and John Lambert; and his siblings: Bobby Lambert (Barbara) and Delores Lambert.
A celebration of Johnny's life will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Nelsen Reception Center, 4660 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231.
