I miss Miss Kathy's beautiful smile and sense of humor.  Her faith was inspirational  and we used to sing church hymns walking together down the halls of the Shores. She loved people, and others, including me, loved her.🥰

When I visited Kathy,  we were asked if we were sisters.  Then we explained that we knew each other because my grandson married Kathy’s granddaughter.
It was our pleasure to bring Joy, Gloria Dei’s golden retriever, to visit Kathy.  Kathy would give Joy hugs.
It was fun to help Kathy celebrate her birthdays.
We enjoyed Kathy’s sense of humor, too.
We are enjoying the stone swan , that Kelly gave Kathy , which reminds us of Kathy.


Kelly was the early surprise baby Aunt Kathy had at a beach cottage.  She and Uncle Bob were there was some of Aunt Kathy's
family.  There was no time to make it to a hospital!  We were
all amazed at how Aunt Kathy made it through the birth without major panic.  Of course, Kelly was unaware at the time about the stir she created.

Nothing like a moment to remember.

Kathy was married to my uncle Bob and became a wonderful attribute to our family. Family was very important to her. When she and Uncle Bob married they wanted to include everyone in the family in their wedding. Joyce and I were asked to assist in the wedding invitations. They called us one evening and asked if they could come by and get us to help them. We were elated. When they came in they had the wedding invitations all addressed and it was our job to lick the envelops. How special we felt to be asked to assist.  Aunt Kathy was a very kind unique person that was very devoted to her family and she will surely be missed. Her room is ready and she is now in heaven with Uncle Bob.  Our prayers are with Kelly and Tracy for your loss but happy for her greatest reward. God Bless you.

Ms Kathy was such a fun person to be around. Enjoyed her birthday parties, Senior Senior Prom and trips to Cracker Barrel that ended with giant milkshakes. She loved the beautiful flowers 
around the Cracker Barrel.
Lovely and sweet memories for a lovely and sweet lady. Your are dearly loved and missed, Ms Kathy!

Uncle Bob was living with Grandma, Grandpa, Moma, Daddy, and me on Cavedo Lane.   He had a beautiful blue convertible and was 
so handsome.  He brought Aunt Kathy to the house to meet us in that beautiful car. How could he not fall in love with Aunt Kathy!?
She was kind, caring, and so pretty.  All of us felt that she was so
special.  We were so happy that they were getting married, and she
would be part of our family.  



I remember as a young child when my Uncle Bob brought the lady he was going to marry home to meet the family.  Her name was Kathleen Carroll.  This was the most beautiful, eloquent, soft spoken and gracious lady I had ever seen.  She always had time for a nice hug, word of encouragement, and baked some of  the best cookies.  I loved visiting with her and my Uncle Bob.  They were a fairy tale couple.  Aunt Kathy and I worked together at the SCC in Virginia and became very good friends.  I learned to love her and I will miss her but  she will never be forgotten.  Rest in peace my dear aunt.  

Ms Kathleen was such a sweet and gentle lady who was always happy to see you.  Phyllis and I enjoyed working with her and her husband over the years and had the wonderful privilege of calling her our friend. 

My memories of Aunt Kathy are that she always seemed at peace.
She had a very gentle voice and a very caring countenance.
When she talked with you, she always paid attention to what you had to say and showed that she cared.

I will forever be grateful to have known this precious lady. She was always so witty and kind. Her smile brought me joy. I’m so thankful to have precious memories of us laughing together, praying together, worshiping together and sharing the blessings of friendship. 

The  1-1/2 years I spent with Kathy and her family was such a blessing to me and I grew to love her as a dear friend. She was a woman of deep faith and loved the old traditional hymns, which she would sing anywhere, even going down the halls of the senior home where she lived. Her faith, love of people, and warmth were contagious and drew people to her. We had so much fun together sharing life stories of her beloved family, doing puzzles, trips to local stores and ice cream after, and always laughing at some point!  My short time with Kathy and her family was a gift to me which  I will cherish the rest of my life. I truly miss her but know she is in heaven now with her Bob and  her sisters and brothers. Bet they will be having alot of fun!

Phil and I visited Kathy and Bob in their Houston home giving them the Lord's Supper.  What a pleasure it was for us! 
 We had the privilege of celebrating many birthdays with Kathy on December 26th.
Our church's comfort dog, Joy, visited Kathy every month.  Kathy was always cheerful and witty.  
Since we were both Kathleen and both grandmothers of Jill and Matthew we bonded.  Both of us bragged about our grandchildren.
Kelley and Tim were such dedicated caregivers.  Kathy was so blessed.
