Lawrence Stanley Magdalenski

Born on October 18, 1944 in Pittsfield, MA he was preceded in death by his parents, Stan and Virginia Magdalenski. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Susan Haurand Magdalenski and his sisters, Sandra Pozzetta of Gainesville, FL and Margaret Tringali of Housatonic, MA. He is also survived by his Varina and New Kent family: brother-in-law Bobby Haurand (Eileen), sister-in-law Jackie Blake (Harry), and brother-in-law Michael Haurand (Laurie), as well as his Florida family: niece Adrienne Pozzetta (Kris), nephew Jim Pozzetta (Erin) and great-nephews, Max and Malcolm Pozzetta.

After graduating from Boston College in 1966 Larry proudly served in the US Army where he earned a Bronze Star in Vietnam as a First Lieutenant in their PSYOPS Group. For almost 30 years he worked for Honeywell-BULL in their manufacturing facilities in Lowell, Brighton and Lawrence, MA. He retired to Virginia in 2006 to pursue his life long passion of hunting.

Per Larry’s direction, his ashes will be interred beside his family in St. Bridget’s Cemetery in Great Barrington, MA at a later date this spring.
