Lyle "Keith" Bradley

Keith was born December 18, 1950 in Lexington, Va., the son of Lyle Fauber Bradley and Louise May Bradley.

As an Air Force brat, he spent parts of his childhood in Maine, overseas in Germany, and in Gloucester, Va. He graduated from Gloucester High School in 1969.

Keith married his high school sweetheart, Deborah Wilcox, in 1971, with whom he had three children, Aaron, Megan, and Garrett. They divorced in 1983 and Keith married Crystal Thomas in 1986, with whom he had one child, Logan. Their marriage ended in 2000.

He lived much of his early adult life in Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, and King William counties, before moving with Crystal and Logan to the Shenandoah Valley in the late 90’s, where he lived in various locations for the last twenty five plus years. Keith loved the rural country and rolling hills of the Shenandoah Valley, sharing this deep appreciation for the Appalachian region with his father, Lyle.

Keith worked for many years as a network specialist at RF&P Railroad prior to its acquisition by CSX. Outside of work, he enjoyed camping, hunting, taking summer trips to the beach - particularly Nags Head and the Outer Banks, and was an avid reader of political and military-espionage thriller novels.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Louise Bradley.

Keith is survived by his first wife, Deborah Bradley; his second wife, Crystal Rose; his children, Aaron, Megan, Garrett, Logan; his sisters, Becky, Karen; and four grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held on June 22, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home in Richmond, Va.
