EBERHARD, Malcolm Hazelwood, 69, of Sandston passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015. Malcolm worked for Into-Roto and retired from Philip Morris with 28 years of service where he was a mechanist and worked in maintenance. He was a member of Antioch Baptist church, and served on the Antioch Baptist Church building and cemetery committee. His love for farming and raising cows came from growing up on his family farm in which he still lived at. He is preceded in death by his parents; Alvin Victor Eberhard and Hattie Bernice Eberhard Parker; and brother, Alvin Sherwood Eberhard. Malcolm is survived by his loving wife, Starr Butler Eberhard; daughter, Susan Eberhard Kelley (Michael A. Kelley); granddaughter, Kassi M. Kelley (John Garrett Jr.); great grandson, Jace M. Garrett sister-in-law, Lou Eberhard; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many devoted family and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 1 at Nelsen Funeral Home Laburnum from 2-4p and 6-8p. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 2 at 11am at Antioch Baptist Church: 3868 Antioch Church Road Sandston, VA 23150. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
