Margaret Taylor Berry

Margaret Taylor Berry, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, born and raised in the Afton Mountains, departed this life surrounded by family to be with her Holy Father on Monday, March 6, 2017. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl “Leon” Taylor; second husband, Robert “Bob” Berry; daughters, Sharon Taylor and Joan Garnett; and siblings, Phil, Alice, Mildred and Joyce. She is survived by her son, Tony Taylor (Grace); son in law, Ronnie Garnett; grandchildren, Michael (Althea), Michelle(Walter), Kenny, Amanda (David), Shannon(Ellisha), Jessica (Jeremy) and Ashley (Shawn); great grandchildren, Mikey (Brielle), Jonathan, Stephanie, Dylan, Maddox, Silas, Melissa and Maxx; numerous nieces, nephews, family & friends, including her best friend for many years, Hazel Allen (Butch). She will always be remembered and loved. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where services will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 2pm. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
