Lennon, Margaret King Simmons, 83, of Henrico, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. She was a former school bus driver for Henrico County and a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Midlothian, Virginia. Margaret enjoyed playing softball and was inducted into the Richmond Metro Softball Hall of Fame. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank A. Simmons and James C. Lennon. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Christie Simmons and David (Kari) Lennon; grandchildren, Ashton and Mallory; and sister, Carol Vaughan. A visitation will take place at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231, on Saturday, May 28, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. A private interment will take place at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
