SEAWELL, Margaret Haynes Lawson, 89, of Chesterfield, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Margaret was retired from C&P Telephone Company and sold real-estate after her retirement for Century 21. She was also a member of the C&P Pioneers Club, and was a lifelong member of Trinity Episcopal Church. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Douglas Seawell, son, Dennis Douglas Seawell; Sisters, Ruby Lawson Jones, Clara Lawson Fore; and brother, Lawrence Alvin Lawson. She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Lawson Devericks; grandchildren, Shannon Adair Seawell, Jeremiah Douglas Seawell; great grandchildren, Ryan William Raub, John Charles Jaquis; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 8, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 501 West Nine Mile Rd, Highland Springs, VA 23075. Interment at 2 p.m. in Abingdon Church Cemetery, 4645 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Gloucester Courthouse, VA 23083.
