

She was preceded in death by her loving, caring, and devoted husband, Lewis Albert Weis; parents, John David and Lottie Seal Johnson; sister, Phyliss Ann Johnson; her cat, Mr. Puss; and her dog, Tutu.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving and devoted daughter, Valerie “Dink” Silva (Willie); son, Franklin David Tucker; six grandchildren - one lifelong and devoted granddaughter, Katherine “Katie” Louise, Johnny (Mia), Dennis (Veronica), Denise (Mr. P), Dillon (Jessica), and devoted grandson, Dustin; nine great-grandchildren - one very special great-granddaughter, Dymond (Jake), loving great-grandson, CJ, Dakota, Daylin, Dawson, Madison, Karleigh, Aiden, Danielle; one amazing great-great granddaughter with whom she talked about daily – looking forward to pictures and visits, Grace Lee; many cousins, one that she was very close to, Edith Pitts; many nieces and nephews; and devoted friends, including Wimpy Isgett.
Margaret worked for the City of Richmond for over 30 years starting out at City Hall, a nursing home, Richmond Juvenile Detention Center, Fulton Gas Works, public utilities, and the ASAP program. After her retirement she spent many weeks and weekends with her husband, Lewis and granddaughter, Katie at the Colonial Beach Campgrounds where they enjoyed their time with friends and family. Margaret and her husband also attended many Nascar races together, she continued to keep up with Nascar after her husband passed away – she also enjoyed watching wrestling and soap operas. She was the proud owner of a garage kept 1985 Monte Carlo. Margaret was the treasurer for Tall Cedars and belonged to the Naomi Chapter of the Eastern Star. Margaret’s husband was the #157 taskmaster of the Mann Page Lodge, she would work tirelessly helping to prepare food for their functions.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231 where a service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
