

Mark Benjamin Robins, 64, of Sandston, Virginia abandoned his battle with cancer to find peace in the arms of The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 18, 2017. Mark was preceded in death by his father W.A. “Bushead” Robins and his brother Kent Robins. He is survived by his mother Frances Robins and his beloved wife of 42 years, Teresa Pastore Robins. Mark was a loving and active Father and Papa. He is also survived by two daughters, Ami Mulligan (Chris) and Lesley Mannino (Philip); eight grandchildren, Gavin, Seth, Faith, Leah, Dane, Charlestyn, Matteo, and Gianluca; two step-grandchildren, CJ and Nicole; devoted sisters, Marsha Clements (Ron), Penny Groome (Gordon), and Shelly Hunkele (Tommy); mother-in-law, Marion Pastore; sister-in-law, Mary Bestafka (Bob), along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, lifelong friends, and coworkers. Mark was an active member of Sandston Baptist Church. He graduated from Highland Springs High School Class of 1970 and he retired from Henrico County Public Schools Construction & Maintenance after 22 years of service. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Nelsen Funeral Home on Laburnum Avenue from 3-7 pm. A funeral service will be held Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 2 pm at Sandston Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Sandston Baptist Church.
