Mildred Ann Peters Wright, 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, George O. Wright; son, James R. Wright; grandson, Christopher S. Wright; and companion, Irven Cullingsworth. Mildred retired from Bell Atlantic after 27 years of dedicated service and is a member of Oakwood Memorial Baptist Church. During her leisure, she would enjoy activities with the Pioneers, Moose Lodge, the Red Hats Society and crocheting. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Gloria W. Alley and her husband, Jack Alley; and son, Stephen G. Wright and his wife, Virginia B. Wright; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be on Monday, February 23, 2-4 & 6-8pm with funeral services on Tuesday, February 24th at 11am. All services will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S.
