Mona Ellen Kuester

Mona Ellen Kuester, 92, of Henrico County VA., passed on June 11th, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick C. Kuester Sr., and daughter, Ethel Marie Collins. She was dedicated wife, mom, grandma and great grandma. She was a substitute teacher for Henrico County schools and was born and raised on the island of Trinidad in the Caribbean. She is survived by her two sons, Frederick C. Kuester, Jr. (Alice), and Theodore Kuester (Robin) and son-in-law, Charles "Linnie" Collins. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Shawn Collins (Colleen), Kevin Collins, Brian Collins, Shannon Lawson (Jerry), Eric Kuester (Kris), Ryan Kuester (Courtny), Mandy Kuester (Robyn Ginsberg), Stephen Kuester (Jeslyn), Eva Kuester, Matt Kuester and step-grandson, Justin Hill (Keyri). In addition, is survived by 15 great grandchildren, Nicole, Flannery, Kaitlyn, Aaron, Eamonn, Konner, Maeve, Maggie, Adam, Emma, Megan, Sydney, Emory, Cal and Greysie. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 on Monday, June 15 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond VA 23231. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 16 at 11am at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Park Dr. Sandston VA 23150.
