
Paul Randolph Warner, of Highland Springs, lost his 17 year battle with Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease, on March 18, 2015. He was born on New Year’s Eve in 1955 in Rome, NY and liked to say that he could find a party anywhere in the world on his birthday. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Luther Gay Warner and Myrtle Audrey Smith Warner. Paul grew up in Hampton, Virginia before joining the US Army in 1973. Paul served in the 68th Armor Division and was stationed in Germany, Kansas and Colorado Springs before leaving the military in 1983. As a civilian, he was a bartender for 18 years working at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs; Lake Forest Country Club and Anheuser-Busch in St. Louis, Missouri; and Kings Mill in Williamsburg, Virginia. Paul’s greatest joy was his family. Survivors include his beloved wife and caregiver, Linda Martin Warner; children, Mischa Warner and wife Antonia, Shea Warner, Melissa Warner, and Patricia Warner Wysack and husband Ray; stepchildren, Bradley Warby and wife Sam, Dana Warby Johnson and husband Matt, Erin Warby, Sean Warby and Travis Warby; grandchildren, Olivia and Seth Deepak, Eli and Lula Kgang, and Jasper Warner. He is also survived by siblings, Larry Warner, Lance Warner and wife Carol, and Linda Warner Hutson; as well as nieces, nephews, grandnieces and a grandnephew. A memorial service will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue in Richmond, VA on Sunday, March 29 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul’s memory to the VCU Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center either online or via a check made payable to the MCV Foundation and mailed to: VCU Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Center, P.O.
