COLLINS, Ransome Coy Collins II "Randy," of New Kent, left this earthbound plane on Friday, January 2, 2015. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Ruey (Curley) Collins; and brother, Cary Lee Jascomb. He is survived by his wife, Crystal Collins; son, Ransome Collins III; daughter, Bobbie Collins; mother, Kathleen Collins; and four siblings, Phil Collins, Mona Scaggs, Rue Collins White and Robin Plunkett; and many nieces and nephews. Randy enjoyed a long and successful career in manufacturing. He was proudly employed at the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Chester, Va., where he was inspired by their daily commitment to excellence. He loved his family and friends, the Dallas Cowboys, and music, most notably Pink Floyd. The "Great Gig in the Sky" awaits him. A celebration of his life will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231 on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 6 to 6:30 p.m., with the family receiving friends after the service until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Collins family for a charity of their choice.
