88, of Henrico, passed away on July 25, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents and his nine siblings. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Bessie Hicks Layne; his son, Glenn Layne; daughter, Connie King; two grandchildren, Bradley King Sr. and Heather Altadonna and her husband, Filippo; and the love of his life, great-grandson, Bradley King Jr. Visitation will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, Laburnum on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, from 4 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, Laburnum, on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at 1 p.m., with interment in Washington Memorial Park.
