Born in Gary Indiana, he moved to California to live with his father where he joined the Air Force and served in the Korean War. He worked as an electrician and retired from the local 666 after many years. He was proud to be a Mason and volunteered for Bon Secours Hospital for over 10 years. He was a member and served in many positions at St Paul Lutheran Church. He will long be remembered for his distinct sense of adventures which led him to numerous cross-country trips with his family. He was a dedicated and loyal husband and father and his family always came first. He can be remembered for saying “I am rich because I have SIX kids” he will also be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor. He was strong, courageous, yet gentle. Our family would like to thank his devoted caregiver, Tammy Byers, and Serenity First Hospice team that afforded him comfort and care during his final days. We also thank many sweet people who loved and cherished him. He will forever be cherished and missed.
