Robert Lewis "Bob" Hendricks

Robert Lewis Hendricks “Bob”, 63, of Sandston, lost his battle with cancer on March 3, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Hendricks and Betty Farley; sister, Donna Hendricks and beloved dog and sidekick, BJ. He leaves behind his loving wife of 37 years, Faith Hendricks; sons, Robert, Jr. (Lori), Matthew (Ann), daughter, Charlotte Embrey (Tim); six precious grandsons, Harrison, Bennett, Brenden, Pierce, Blake, and Whit and brother, Dennis Hendricks. Bob was honorably discharged from the Marines after serving in the Vietnam War. He retired recently after 35 years in the food service business. The family will receive friends on March 6, 2014 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231, with a prayer service following at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Maronite Church, 4611 Sadler Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
