Robert (Governor, Sonny) B. Marshall, 80, of Varina, died on July 11, 2016. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Zippie Marshall; sister, Doris Black; and brother, Bernie Marshall. He is survived by his devoted wife, Margie Samuels Marshall; siblings, Watson (Bubba) Marshall and Katie Ellerson, and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Nelsen Funeral Home Laburnum, Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 12-8pm. A funeral service will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home Laburnum, Friday, July 15, 2016 at 2pm.
