He was preceded in death by his wife, Uva Patricia Williams; father, Virginius Williams; mother, Katie Hobbs Williams; sisters, Irene Newsome, Juanita Brown, Ellen Beck; and brothers, Thomas Williams, VC Williams, Mack Williams.
Robert was a former auto mechanic with Cox Transportation and Great Coastal Express. He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War. Robert was an avid golfer and enjoyed doing yard work.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Rebecca W. Nunn; and granddaughter, Ashley Nicole “Nikki” Nunn.
