Ryland Archie Brown, Jr.

Ryland was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah N. Brown, and step-daughter, Brenda Samuel. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Justin Brown; devoted great granddaughter, Sarah Ross; loved great grandson, C.W.; step-daughter, Sandra Edwards; grandchildren, B.J., Doreen, Robert, Sarah Dean; 17 additional great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.

He was a longtime member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Beaverdam.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Westport Rehabilitation and Nursing Center and to specifically thank Tangie, Morgan, Darryl, and Sam for all of their love and support.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23231.
