BUCHANAN, Steven Michael, 45, of Richmond, Va. passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014 . He was born on October 8, 1968. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Buchanan; maternal grandparents, Charles and Lois Allen; and paternal grandparents, Lillian and Welford Buchanan, and Marinda and Doyle Jones. He is survived by his faithful companion of 15 years Jodi Bowers; loving mother and best friend, Judy Jones and her husband Wayne; his Siblings “little brother” Tommy B. (Misty), Davey Jones and, Michelle Heath (John); and a host of aunts, uncles, many nieces and nephews; one great-niece; one great-nephew; and lifelong friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, Va 23231, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
