Thomas William "Billy" McDonald

Billy was born on August 4, 1938. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas E. McDonald and Daisy E. Poindexter McDonald; and one brother, Harry E. McDonald.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys Wade McDonald; three sons, Gene McDonald, Thomas Byron McDonald and Anthony Wayne McDonald; two grandchildren, Trinity L. McDonald and Haven L. Bradley; one brother, Gene C. McDonald (Helen); and one sister-in-law, Sally McDonald. Billy worked for Sydnor Hydrodynamics until his retirement 17 years ago.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a service will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd., Hanover, Va. 23069.
