Vera is survived by her son Ray Matz Jr. and his wife Julie Matz, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Eric Taylor, Jeays Matz, Razor Matz, and Mission Matz.
Vera was born on October 30, 1934, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to loving parents Joseph Balush and Anna Pelet. Vera married Raymond Matz, with whom she shared a loving and fulfilling life. Together, they raised their son Raymond and Daughter Janet. Vera was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Vera's warmth, wisdom, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her.
