Pamela Kristine Anna Smith

Passed away at the age of 59, in St. Catharines, on March 17, 2026, at the St. Catharines Hospital. She was born on April 14, 1966, in Fort Erie to Evelyn Brooks-Cameron and Jim Brooks.

Kristine is survived by her husband, Greg Smith; her children, Jim (Amanda) Brooks and Terri (Sam) Brooks; her granddaughters, Nora Brooks and Gemma Brooks; and her mother-in-law, Rita Smith. She was a sister to Lori, Sis (Steve), Joe (Lilian), Jack (Doug), Jean Letourneau, and Jim (Cindy), and will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother, Evelyn Brooks-Cameron; her father, Jim Brooks; her stepfather, Daniel Cameron; her siblings, Liz Hirons and Gord Overholt; and her father-in-law, Earl Smith.

She was the heart of her family—a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched every life she encountered. Her marriage was a true partnership built on unwavering love, respect, and memories that will be cherished forever. As a mother, she gave endlessly of herself, offering guidance, patience, and unconditional support through every stage of life.

Her greatest joy, however, was found in her role as a grandmother, where her gentle spirit and playful laughter created lasting bonds and treasured moments. Her legacy lives on in the strength, compassion, and love she instilled in her family, who will carry her memory in their hearts always.

Her family would like to thank the many PSWs and Nurses who provided care and assistance to Kristine over the last few years.
