Annette Dee Prieto, age 57, of Auburn Hills, Michigan passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025. She was born in Pontiac, MI on December 4, 1967 and lovingly raised by her parents William Clark Sr. and Carolyn Clark. Annette excelled academically and graduated Cum Laude from Pontiac Northern High School. Annette originally married David Prieto in 1985 and then reunited in 2015, where he cared for, and loved her until her passing.
With a talent for numbers, Annette worked as an accountant for several years, and when at home, she found great joy in her rescue dogs Poppy and Skittles. While struggling with the disease herself, Annette took up the cause to help find a cure for Childhood Diabetes, donating when she could to help fund research.
She was a woman with an incredibly strong will. Despite her health challenges she never allowed her illness to set limitations for her. Annette was a traveler and saw many incredible sights that the average person can only dream about. When she got knocked down, she got right back up and kept going; and she shared this energy with the people around her. She desired to see her friends and family succeed and she did whatever it took to help make that happen. It has been said, "A true friend is someone who believes in you, even when you don't believe in yourself, and will always lift you up to help you reach your full potential."-Unknown.
She is survived by her husband David Prieto; children Angela (Chase) Humphrey, Wesley (Lauren) Shall, and Andrew Prieto; grandchildren Alessandra, Skylar, Elora, Davrick, and Henry; father William Clark Sr.; siblings Tabitha Parker and Bill Clark Jr.
She is preceded in death by her mother Carolyn Clark.
A memorial visitation for Annette will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan 48307, followed by a sharing of memories at 4:00 PM.
