Bernice Ruth Brown

Born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan January 10, 1926

Joined the Lord on August 1, 2014

Bernice was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Harold A. She was born to William & Helen Dust, graduated New Baltimore H.S., married Harold February 16, 1946 She was predeceased by 3 sisters (Ethel, Alvina & Lila) and 4 brothers (Henry, Bob, Larry, Billy) and is survived by Lucille, Susan, Charles & Wayne. Very much loved mother of Debbie (Robert) Reilly, Karen Supert and David (Carmella) Brown. Nan as she was very endearingly referred to by her 6 Grandchildren Brian (Lisa), Kevin (Kristin), Jessica (Gamal) Ahmed, Christopher (Natalie) Supert, Michael Brown and Maria (Bartolone) and 8 Great grandchildren Lauren & Emma Reilly, Peyton, Holdin & Brek Reilly, Aidan Supert, Ayla & Bria Ahmed.

She worked at Federal Department Store in Roseville for several years in the cosmetic dept. She and Harold retired to Florida in 1979. After living in Florida for 10 years, they returned to Michigan to be with their family and have resided in Rochester Hills and Troy for the last few years. When she got back to Michigan she became an Avon lady selling until she was 83 years old, receiving a 20 year award plaque from Avon.

In her retirement years she was able to experience the joy of travel with Harold; they visited California & Arizona and cruised to Alaska, Hawaii and the Caribbean.

Her pleasure was being together with her family she always looked forward to those times together. Her final wish was that her family remain as close and continue to do things together.
