Bonnie was born the daughter of Wayne and Neva (Wathen) Fugitt on July 19, 1945, in Pontiac, Michigan. She graduated from Pontiac Northern High School, class of 1963. Bonnie married Larry (Bob) Berry on May 11, 1979 in Tennessee, and they raised their family in Lake Orion, Michigan. Bonnie held a daycare business in her home for many years. Bonnie and Bob were members of the Pontiac Eagles Club. They retired to Florida in 2010.
Bonnie loved hosting holidays and spending time with her grandchildren. In earlier years she enjoyed taking road trips, including her famous 2-week roadtrip from Michigan to California and back in the bright red Pacer.
Bonnie is survived by her children Theresa (Steven) Hadley, Christine (Dan) Schram, Pamela Berry (Rick Elsner) and Jeff Mclean; fourteen grandchildren; many, many great-grandchildren; and niece Debbie (John) Martin. Bonnie was predeceased by her husband Bob Berry, and son Gerald Morrison.
A funeral service will be held on Friday August 29, 2025 at 11am at the chapel at Christian Memorial Gardens cemetery, located at 521 East Hamlin Road in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
